I only remember a few episodes of Captain Planet.

Didn't they make evil copies of the rings in one episode and come up with Captain Pollution?

He has an eyepatch and an even bigger mullet.

That had to be one of the worst american cartoons ever made.

I loved that series growing up. The Planeteers, the villains, even Captain Planet himself. Sure, series was kinda cheesy (even realized that at the time), but it was pretty cool. My favorite character was Wheeler, of course. Fire = awesome, plus the guy was from Brooklyn (represent!).

EDIT: Whoa, profile on Turner website says he could use lightning, too. I don't remember that, that's crazy awesome. Red hair, green eyes, lightning - dude was practically Crono.
