Not too sure about this. Now I'm stuck with Win98 and the max I can get open concurrently is about 15, even with my 1500K DSL line connection. In the past, when I had W2K Pro, I could get about 30 or 40 IE windows open all at once in the taskbar and after that I lost count. Just curious about this as I'm wondering if the more RAM you have in Win XP will also let you open up more IE windows at once, without a memory leak, or lock up after a while (Like I get now).
Thanks
BTW, I am upgrading to WinXP Pro in about 3-4 weeks and will get about 512-1Gb ram, so thats why I ask.
