i fell asleep during a few parts but overall, the movie was just amazing. especially the last half and all the battle scenes. But the yoda duel with dooku sucked compared to the darth maul vs obi wan and qui gon

I loved this movie. The DVD (all digital!) was amazing. But I have to agree that the Yoda/Dooku fight was lame. I mean, after all these years of waiting to see Yoda fight..it was over in 64 seconds, you know?

Yes, I know how much work and computing power it took to do that scene...Yoda was a CGI in this movie, IIRC. But they should've made it longer!!! I wanted to see Yoda kick @ss, man.. :(

Nah, he's a student. FP=flat panel DVI=digital video input from his ATI videocard....he needs a HT. You are fine.

Great acting? The guy who played Anakin couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. William Shatner is a better actor than him.

It was better than EP1 (what isn't) and for the most part enjoyable.

I liked it. Granted it got zero play time as soon as I got LoTR: Extended, but still a good flick. Key is to watch it with subtitles, as the acting is pretty bad throughout and there's just too much key plot dialogue obscured by sound effects and poor scene placement. The love story between Anakin and Padme doesn't exactly light it up on the silver screen, but when you can read the script for yourself and imagine what could have been, its really quite captivating. Anakin is a much deeper character than the Canadian (yes, I blame Canada!) conveys; Yoda kicked ass! but yah it was too short. I think Lucas was afraid the kiddies would cry if Yoda started slicing and dicing people.

What's wrong with Flat Panels? I have an HTPC built around my 1900FP, and its a better individual movie watching experience than my normal HT system (with 32'' XBR WEGA). Picture quality is amazing and the vibrant colors....yummy........

Everyone complaining about the Yoda vs. Dooku scene:

Go watch it again. Then, watch the ObiWan - Vader lightsaber duel on the first death star.

Go ahead, tell me which one of them sucks more.

I dont get it why everyone says the love scenes are so bad. Yes, they are awkward, they are INCREDIBLY awkward, but theyre supposed to be! He's a freaking jedi, not casanova.
