Vegas always wants the weekend crowd from LA to come up and drop a load. LA gets tons of hotels deals coming through the LA Times too.

Now where did all those digi-cam threads go?

They can go to Vegas, I'd rather sit on my arse at home on AT (probably due to the fact I'm only 19)

You realize that w/ airport security and wait times the way they are now, you could probably drive from LA to Vegas just as quickly? It's not that far.

It's about 250 miles to Vegas from LA (San Gabriel Valley) if I recall correctly. It took us about 3:30 hours I think. I would rather drive than fly, although fares are cheap as hell. I don't mind the drive honestly, and its funner taking a roadtrip there with my friends. If only fares from Oakland to LA were $19 each way :(

you would probably save hours going each way, depending on from which airport you go from. I personally am closer to ONT.

I usually fly into ONT from Oakland when I go home. It's much easier to go through there than LAX.

I always thought it was 4-5 hours, depending on how quick you drove.

that's about right.. just did that early july.. glad i didnt have to drive.. i drove down with a friend to l.a. to meet up with someone else. we rented a car, and had the other friend (that lived in l.a.) drive to/from las vegas. road trips are tiring. but i hate flying. esp. nowadays.. it was a fun trip though.
