Driving down to WV tomorrow at 5am to pick up the parts to finish my car.

Oh, and by the way, I just found out the fan for the heater in the car I'll be driving took a shit last night. So no heat, and the windchill is approximately-FUCKING COLD.


5 hours of driving (10 r/t) without heat should be fine, right? lol.

MOTHER FUCKING SHIT.

So I'm driving down 77, I'm at 90 miles on the odometer and I've been moving about 70 minutes, making good time. I stop for a second, because I lost feeling in my toes (by lost feeling, imagine ice blocks...). So I'm on the side of the highway.

And I pop the hood, the entire engine compartment is soaked on the passenger side, and there's absolutely no coolant left. I'm really hoping I just broke a hose or something, and didn't blow a head gasket...

So I walk the 1.5 miles...in fucking -20 temperatures to get to a gas station. I have my ride on the way down, but they're an hour and a half away.

So in the gas station, I meet people who were the biggest rednecks I've ever seen. I'm talking shotguns in their trucks, Natty lights in hand at 8AM, and the most racist motherfuckers I've ever come across in my life. That was fun.

Oh...my...god.

I ended up not getting my car parts, lol. So now I can't even fix my car, which is sitting in my garage on jackstands with no transmission and the entire suspension assembly torn apart...lololol.

I'm getting very drunk tonight.

Actually I had heat, but the fan selector switch wasn't functioning. That was the first thing I checked, because I had coolant - just no fan to push the hot air into the cab.


 
Did you and teh rednecks get along?

I bet one of em would've fixed ur ride for you. They like that sorta thing. I like rednecks.
