I actually think that signature is quite useful. I don't want to get ambushed by grammar/spelling nazis every time I fat finger a word.

The grammar nazi's position is that if you can't write well you shouldn't write at all, so, "I was on my phone," confers no protection.

my apologies, I didn't realize you don't allow it.

I actually think that signature is quite useful. I don't want to get ambushed by grammar/spelling nazis every time I fat finger a word. I also use a predictive keyboard on my phone and it doesn't always work a hundred percent of the time. I try to proof read my posts but I usually post something quickly when I have a few minutes here and there.
No problem. Everyone we've asked to turn it off has done so, so it hasn't been an issue.:)

Anyhow, not to drag this too much more off-topic, we did consider the grammar nazi issue. In the end we decided that it was more annoying than helpful, and broke the spirit of having separate user-configurable (and hideable) sigs.

Ah, I see. Thanks for taking the time to explain the reasoning behind it. I guess grammar nazis will be more careful with the admins around.

And now back to the OP's topic...sorry OP!
