Just what I thought, a bunch of cities that are so terrible there's nothing better to do than drink yourself to death

You must not get out much because no one would ever say Wisconsin has some of the finest looking women ever.

Seeing how you are from LA I can see why you would say that, but seriously it's the Scandinavian decent thing. Never seen so many beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed women in my life. Not fake beautiful, just naturally beautiful.

At one point, the city I grew up in was the city with the most bars per capita. 15000 people, and 20-something bars.

I think that the current record holder of this prestigious demographic is Pittsburgh, at around a dozen bars per 10,000 restaurants. At a quick glance, cities in Wisconsin don't even come close.

Nah -- probably Bears fans driving home after yet another loss in GB :)

Many of them might be Bears fans driving home from Lamboeu after the bears lose, but most of those would be drunk people, or people who hit deer.

That said, they wont be too upset because the stadium in Green Bay is a damn nice stadium, even if your team loses, you were at a good stadium.

I'm not sure about the other wisconsin cities, but the main source in Madison isn't bars.
Online keg reservations is where it's at.

I was born in Kenosha, just south of Racine, and before the drinking age was raised to 21 we'd get a shitload of business from Il. where the drinking age was 19 while Wi. was 18.

back then we had the most bars per capita in the nation

I DEFINITELY took advantage of that back in the day. In fact we drove up HS grad night to Lake Geneva to drink like moronic 18 year olds would on grad night. Rte 12, up and back.

Holy crap kegs have gotten expensive. I remember when Newcastle was "premium" and commanded about $80, Bud was the standard at $60. $99.99 for Bud Lite? ouch...and Budweiser is considered "specialty"? weird.

I'll take the Hamm's for $69, tyvm.
