Wirless connection to the new plasma

I have a new 42" plasma, and I would like to use my laptop through the connector on back, but would like to do it wireless. Is there a way?
I asked my son, who has a lot of IT experience - and he did not know of a way.

Can't be done .. some sets have HDMI inputs and can be used with a compute, with the tv as a Monitor
The new Sony LCD Bravia chassis has this as do a lot of others .. but no way to connect it wirelessly
