Would there be any problems with hooking up a PC to one of those GFCI outlets? I want to put one in a room that doesn't have any grounded outlets, and I understand those GFCI receptacles you can buy meet Nat'l Code, but still am not sure if I'd be fine to plug a PC into it.

It should be fine. Just don't plug anything that has a compressor (freezer, fridge, ect) or draws a digusting amount of juice (portable electric heater, arc welder :p, ect) into it.

A PC draws a relatively little amount of power compared to many other devices. It by itself won't be enough to pop the GFI.

Only thing to watch out for is to make sure that the GFI isn't on the same loop as other outlets that you *might* plug plug those types of items into. Even if the outlet doesn't have a GFI, it might still trip one somewhere else in the house.

Yeah, but if there is something wrong, I don't want to have to be resetting the GFCI constantly or possibly cause some sort of problem.

Sweet, just what I was hoping to hear
Think a box fan could be a potential problem? I might run one of those on the same circuit, but since the circuits in my house are all wonky I can't be sure if it's on the same one or not.
