I have a question about what tools I'll need.

I bought the RJ-45 connectors and a huge roll of CAT5E cable. What else will I need to make the cables? And where can I get them?

A cutter or scissors to remove the CAT 5E shielding and a crimper to lock the RJ-45 in place and a glass of cold water for refreshments. :)

So I don't need to strip each individual wires? The crimper will take care of that? (By the way, what does a crimper look like?)

I'll take a six pack over water.:)

"So I don't need to strip each individual wires?"

You only need to strip the external "coating" so that only the 4 pairs of colored wires stick out. This is to prepare them to be inserted to the RJ-45 connector and then be lock or "crimped" by the crimping tool.
