I'm looking for some software that will analyze Wireshark logs, run stats on them, etc.

Google pointed me towards Sawmill, and I downloaded the 30-day trial, but i cant get it running (page doesn't display).

anyone have suggestions for what they use (if anything)?

What exactly are you looking for? There is software that analyzes application and network performance, but they run 50-100K.

We've been experiencing a lot of latency recently. We've contacted our ISP (we have a T1 for 40-50 employees), they checked everything on their end out and it seems fine to them. So I've been using Wireshark to take logs, but I'm hoping there is a way to do some automated reporting. I want to get some stats on things like how many people are browsing the web most of the time, and during the periods of latency...how much packet loss we are experiencing...and lots more. In addition to trying to understand and isolate the problems we are having now, i want to use it in part as an educational tool for myself.

This past summer, we replaced our entire network with all Gigabit Switches and NICs and CAT6 wiring, and spent another couple hundred thousand on a new server infrastructure. We shouldnt be having these issues...

Does the latency only affect the internet traffic? If so have you considered a quicker link. 1.54 Mbs seems a little slow for 40 - 50 users these days. I have 20 Mbs just for home use. I appreciate the T1 has a better upstream bandwidth and no contention but 40 - 50 users on that speed of link seems a little tight. Are you using a proxy cache and if so what kind of hit rate do you get on it?
