Wires, wires and more wires (now with pics!)

I just spent an hour untangling cables and power cords. I think I made things worse rather than better.

Here's a list:

PS/2 keyboard and mouse
Extermal Firewire HDD
USB Scanner
USB Printer
USB Hub
Speakers
Win TV USB
USB card reader
Pass-through parallel port connection for MP3 player
Serial port connection for Palm Pilot
DSL modem
Monitor
Router
2 Power strips.

Geez, this sucks. What a tangly mess.

That is nothing compared to our mess of tangled wires which can probably beat everyone here.

3 computers with 1 CRT & 2 Dell 1900FP LCD's
3 printers
1 UPS
1 Surge Protector
Cisco 675
WiFi network and a few other cables

You got a headache over that? You'll get a super migraine after having to sort thru mine.

I was thinking about tearing mine out to clean up and redo the desktop... the WOODEN desktop..

6 computers (4 configured for dual monitor)
2 19" monitors
2 KVMs (4 port and 8 port Belkin; the 4 port KVM is used to control the 2nd monitor)
DSL modem
4 port router
8 port switch
1 laser printer (connected to my LAN)
1 56K modem
2 UPSes

and I've got 3 computers in storage

Every time a thunderstorm rolls into the area my heart lodges in my throat...
