wireless woes

I have 3 pc's, 2 are networked via linksys wireless usb adapters and a linksys WAP/Router I am running windows xp on one machine, 98 se on the other, and the third computer I want to add is 98 se. I was having major troubles with any network what-so-ever (LAN, phoneline, etc.) so I formatted and reinstalled windows. Now the computer doesn't freeze anymore when I try to connect to a network, but I am still haveing a fefw problems. for instance, the config utility will start up and shows that the adapter is connected to the WAP, this is good, it is showing real time updates on packets and what not, but shortly after (normally 1-2 min, but never longer than 5 min) the connection just drops out, and it starts searching for an access point. I have power saving feature disabled on the adapter, and went about setting it up the same way as the other adapters are (used the setup disk) I have also tried changing usb ports (all 4 plus the 4 on my game theater xp) to no avail. Do any of you have any ideas as to how to fix this? My second problem is something that I am sure you guys know how to do, I just forgot how to do it, I need to share the internet/printer to the afore metioned computer, I have the dsl plugged into the WAP via ethernet cable, and it is working on the xp and the other 98 se machine. I just need to know how to share it onto this machine. Thanks for your help in advance.

Sharing should not be a problem as long as the settings are correct. You should do it first since it may affect the Wireless connection too.

Networking and sharing between computers.

Windows XP Professional Ed. Sharing Disks /Folders

As for the Wireless.

I would switch off the WinXP computer, and try to establish connection between the two 98se computers (because it is simpler to set, and to establish if the Hardware works correctly). Work on the Win 98 computer, and put close one to the other, to avoid distance problems.
