You possibly could, but why bother? For a few more bucks you can have it done right.

As far as airtime, if you already have a dial-up ISP, then you can use your phone as a modem and just use up airtime. If you want to use Sprint's wireless web then you'll pay $0.08 a minute unless you already have that as a feature. I've been planning on hooking up my StarTAC to my Palm Pilot for a while.

<< If you sign up for the basic "Wireless web" service, they charge you $5/mo... and the time you use is counted as normal airtime... (i think).

They also appear to have a special now... you get 3 month free when you sign up for the Wireless web service. Ask the CSR when adding the service.

This says $10 for wireless web option.

It's $5 a month for me and others on the 35.99 plan - or maybe it's because we're under contract. That's after the first 3 (or 6) months free.

For palms and other devices it includes a null modem cable - you plug it into your synch cable and it works (no drivers needed on WinCE). It would probably be hard to make this adaptor.

does this work with win2k? my cousin got a kit from sprint and when i tried installing on my laptop it said it doesnt support win2k, i dont remember what version it was though.
