I've got a bunch of devices across a room that can get power from an outlet. The bad thing is i dont have enough room to run usb cords to computers. Its in a home office of 2 people, so id like both people to be able to send/receive info from the scanner and printer wirelessly. I know i can get a wireless print server, but what about the scanner?

Don't know how well (or poorly it works), but I remember seeing that Belkin released a wireless USB hub earlier this year.

I have never gotten scanning to work with any USB/wireless connection. If the scanner has a network connection you're good to go. The other option, for more money, is to buy an All In One printer with the wireless built-in.

10-4 on the all-in-one. I've heard predictions on WUSB, but haven't seen anything on the market, but I have used HP's all-in-ones that do a decent job across a wireless network. They can be a pain in the butt to set up, but the work pretty well.

I have a Brother all in one, that's USB and Network capable. It wouldn't take much to put something like that wireless bridge.

I think i might go with a network scanner. Can anyone recommend a brand or model.

I would go all in one , but we already have a business class printer.

Why not give this a look?

Scan

Might get the job done for less $$$.
