Due to certain circumstances not under my control I only have one broadband option. DSL is not in the area and I can't get a cable modem at the house I'm going to be moving to soon...
Is it at all possible for a wireless g router (linksys that will be patched with sveasoft's firmware that supposedly ups reception range) coupled with a really good wireless g usb card to receive a transmission from a house about 3 houses up and roughly 50 yards away?
I don't know if this is technically legal or not. If it is then I'll just drop the whole subject but since it's my only option I'll just be forced to deal with figuring it out myself.
