Wireless surround speakers?

I don't have any interest in sound bars. I have a 5.1 system, I just want to know if wireless speakers for the rear surrounds exist, if they're any good, and whether they can be used on any receiver. I have a new living room that makes it very difficult to wire them without being in the way.

Have you tried https://www.avsforum.com/ ? It's more geared to home theater and should have a much better use case than here.

Kind of on topic...back in the early 00's, I ended up with a set of wireless speakers. Operated on the 900 mhz band...same as many cordless phones. I hooked them up to my PC to try them out...ended up listening to one of my neighbors begging their finance company to refinance their mortgage and not repo their house. I disconnected the speakers and donated them to one of the thrift stores.
