wireless speakers ???

does it exist ?

I am looking to build up a 5.1 audio system for my DVD-TV combo and i would really be interested in a wireless system... i am really not looking for watt power (+/- 150W)... it could even be computer speakers...

does any brand sell them ? model number ?

um..... you realize speakers are not wireless? there is no such thing. the speakers need decent amout of power and power can not be transfered thru the air.

if you wanted a sound system, i'd suggest www.hometheaterforum.com. very knowledgable people and very friendly.

There are such things as wireless speakers. You'll generally pay quite a bit for good wireless speakers. I don't believe anyone markets a set targeted at PC users, however. Running wires isn't so bad, and you can get a lot better sound for your $$ with wired speakers.

Even if there were such things as wireless speakers I'm sure they would sound like crap. Kind of like wireless headphones.

Give them 5-10 years and they'll be as good as the wired speakers are now. Of course, by then, the wired speakers will be many times better than they are now...

Personally, if you want to get good/great sound, you need to go with wired speakers and such. There are plenty of options out there to hide the wires, if you want the ultra-clean look...
