Wireless Speaker Systems

Some of you may of seen my thread about a company sale on all Harman Kardon and sub-company speakers. These speakers are some of the top of the line (although of course there are better, for considerably more money) and today someone mentioned to me if there were any wireless speakers. And this got me thinking, because I haven't ever noticed any wireless speakers and it seems like it would be a hugely profitable venture. Most problems people have today with audio equipment is hiding the wires. I did a quick google search and there seemed to be some small wireless system setups, but nothing awesome. Why is this? Anyone care to elaborate why this isn't common practice?

The larger the wireless speaker, the larger (and more expensive) the builtin amp that would be necessary. The cost would go up exponentially.

Just a guess.

I would love it if they came out with a good system. The layout of my place mean that I have cables going across my floor for my rear speakers.

The only one that I've seen is from Sony. From what I heard the sound is not that great.

yea from what i remember its the qualia line.. the so expensive u should probably not have to ask how much it costs line.
