Wireless router / switch Question

My friends need to hook up 5 computers to a router / switch for internet access. The router needs to be wireless. My question is that if they buy, for example a dlink 614 plus, which has only an integrated 4 port switch, will each computer be able to access the internet? From my experience in hard networking I would say no, but this wireless stuff might be a bit different.

Sure they can. They can also connect lots more wired machines with the simple addition of a cheap switch or hub. I have a wireless SMC router with an 8 port switch connected, all the ports are stuffed, and there's another switch in the basement servicing several more machines. 😀 I've seen 40 machines on a single SMC SOHO router, it works just fine.

If you read the specs for almost any SOHO wireless router, it should make it pretty clear that you're not limited to the physical connections on the box, plenty of expansion capability.
