Wireless router problems

I have both a linksys and a d-link 614+ that keeps disconnecting the wirelessly laptop but the wired connnection is on the same router is unperturbed, I keep having to reboot the routers to get the wireless connections to work again, do you think its the laptop network card? because this is two routers now and I think this is a bit crazy having to reboot (power off) the router and plug it back in just to reset the wireless connections.

Does it have to do with the channel spectrum the wireless is on? i.e. 2.4??? ghz? we have two cordless phones, and two cell phones, could this be why its constantly disconnecting?

Which linksys router is it? Have you tried changing the channels around? I would also try unpowering your cordless phones to see if it makes a difference. I don't think cell phones will affect your wireless network.

I had that problem with my Linksys wireless router. Updating the firmware helped a lot--whereas it used to have to be turned off/on about once a day, I've only had to do it once since updating the firmware 3 or 4 months ago.

I have a similar problem with a netgear double 108mpbs router.
I happens from time to time. Other times a few times a week. I don't know what the problem could be.
When I lose signal from the laptop, both desktops usually go as well.
Simply rebooting solves the problem.
