Wireless Router/modem question

I have a couple of questions. I am playing some PS 4 games online and my PS 4 is connected to the internet wireless.

1. Will it be noticeable faster if I can connect it to the router with a Ethernet cable(hard line)?

2. I may not be able to move the router/modem, so is there another way I can connect it. Like I heard you can connect threw the outlets in the wall. Plug something into the wall by the router and my room, connect Ethernet cables to them and to my PS 4 and use the electricity threw the wall. I forgot what the sales guy said. Not sure if I am explaining it right. If anyway knows about this method or another can you let me know if its faster then wireless?

Would it work better than Wireless?

It is impossible to know unless you try.

In some cases it does not work at all, in many cases it works similar to the Wireless, and it some case it might work better.

Buy in a way that you can return it if it does not work and give it a try.
