Wireless Router, Desktop NIC, and PCMCIA NIC, $60 AR AC for all at Office Max.

Link to Sunday Circular page.

Manufacturer: Belkin

Router: $59.99 - $30 MIR
Desktop: $39.99 - $10 MIR
PCMCIA: $39.99 - $10 MIR

There are several printable $30 off $150 coupons available from the usual suspects. You'll have to buy $10 worth of something else to get over $150 for the coupon, but if you can use this combo, between the rebates and the coupon, you're in for around $60 plus the tax on $150 plus whatever else you bought. Suggestions:

256 MB Kingston PC2100 DDR RAM: $9.99 after MIR
50 pk CD-R spindle: $10 - $10 = FREE after rebate.
Pentel RSVP ballpoint pens: $3.29 - $3.29 MIR = FREE after rebate (see circular for more options).

Not bad for a one stop solution. Please post your experiences with these items if you've tried them.

I just installed the Belkin Wireless Router and Notebook Adapter that I got from CompUSA... It is working great (99% signal strength, 99% Link Quality), although I am only one wall away from the Router... Maybe I will try downstairs later today... It is probably better than D-Link, but not as good as Netgear (based only on my own experiences).

Doesn't look like the deal is any good in Ohio.. Oh well, the srach for a cheap before rebates router continues 🙂

Yes, it is good in Ohio. I just looked at their ad for the Cleveland area. You can search for your area by going to Officemax.com, and clicking the link for Weekly In-Store Specials at the top of the page. It takes you to a page with a selector for your city and state. 🙂

I remember from another thread about Belkin wireless PCI cards, and people were saying they suck pretty bad.

I was looking to get a cheap card for my sister, she would probably be downstairs from the router. Think this thing could handle some walls and a floor? TIA

Slasher2k -- Sorry. Looks like they put up the coming week's ad since I posted the link, this morning. 🙁 The deal is still good until Saturday, as long as they have stock. I did the entire deal as posted, today, at my local OM. Of course, I called a couple of days ago to put it on hold while I knew they still had stock. 🙂

CtlAltl33t -- If it doesn't work the worst that can happen is, I return everything and get a better setup. The best that can happen is, I set my sister and brother-in-law's net up and saved them around $160 for setup.
