I have a DI-524 router, and an adsl usb modem, is there any way i can share an internet connection without having to buy an ethernet router? Would i be able to just hook up the usb modem to my computer and then the router to the ethernet port, and would that work right? Thank you very much!

well... it does have the static ip address option, but if i set that will it share the internet conneciton still? or do i need the one from my isp? is this just an ip address that's on the local network that any comp on the network will be able to access when i set up their access points?

well.... it's a usb modem... no ethernet connection, and i don't wanna spend more cash... is there a way to share the net connection from my comp to my router? i also wanna share files, printers, and net access... thanx

well.. thanx for the little help i did get, but i figured it out.... i changed the default router ip address to 192.168.0.9 so that windows inernet connection sharing would work... i haven't got the network setup all the way yet.. but should this also share printers and files?
