Wireless Repeaters and WiFi Analyzer (Android)?

This is kind of a specific question that I can't seem to find an answer to, so I was hoping someone here would know.

When using WiFi Analyzer on Android, I was wondering if a single WiFi access point with multiple repeaters shows up as a single access point with one MAC address, or if the repeaters will show up as separate entities with different MAC addresses.

My understanding is that there should be one AP, but I haven't found a demonstration of this. Also, are there any recommended Windows tools that I can use to show the same thing? The purpose of this is to show that an existing setup is using APs instead of repeaters.

Thanks for any help!

So repeaters show up as different mac addresses? Combining or not combining, I want to be able to differentiate between multiple APs with the same SSID vs one AP that uses repeaters.
