I just bought Agere USB Wireless adapter and a PCMCIA adapter. Will these two adapters be able to talk to ea. other w/o a gateway or access pt. and if so will i be able to share my cable modem w/SyGate?
 
If they are 802.11b compatible, then yes. When you install their software, look for an "ad-hoc mode" option.
