Ok, here's how my network is set up right now.
all the wireless is Atheros 802.11G (108mbps turbo mode)
(cable modem) -> (wired router) -> (wired switch) -> (wireless AP (d-link di-624, wireless part only))
What i'm looking for is to add a wireless bridge, so that I can have a few wired ports (let's say 8 maximum) that are connected to the main network via a wireless link.
I know wireless bridges exist (say for example XBox gaming adapters), but my impression of them is that they only work for 1 wired device at a time (i.e. you can directly connect 1 device, but you couldn't connect them to a switch's uplink port and have multiple devices connected).
Is anyone running this config right now? I'm just looking for what i'd need to buy, preferably that does 108mbps turbo 802.11g.
Thanks for any help,
