Wireless problem doesnt seem to go away

I am currently using a linksys 54G router, with a MS MN-710 USB adapter.

I can connect fine after starting up my computer... but after a few minutes (sometimes hours) it drops the connection and cannot reconnect. I've turned off authentication, but have WEP security on. Is this a compatibility issue? What can I do to fix this problem? thanks!!

No, I think that's what he meant by "I've turned off authentication."
How long have you let it sit to see if it gets the connection back by itslef? How are you trying to reconnect?
I know some will say just reset the router or turn it off/on, but that's not a fix.
Just for grins, turn off the Wireless Zero Config service after you connect and see if the problem persists.
