I had a Wireless Intellimouse Explorer for a while, I didn't much care for it.

The most annoying thing is the sleep pattern - After a few seconds of inactivity, they go to sleep. They blink their LED to detect movement, so to wake it you have to be moving the mouse while the LED is lit - Which can result in a large movement required to wake it.

Combine that with the limited refresh rate, and general laggy behavior in games, I ditched it & went for a Logitech Dual Optical.

Now THERE is a nice mouse.

The dual optical is about a $50 mouse, I used my GF4 Ti4600 fiasco gift certificate from Best Buy to cover a lot of it, so I only paid $20 for it.

It's a damn good mouse, by far the best I've ever used.

Got the Logitech Optical Wireless. So far its great, no lag at all that I can detect and still on original batteries. 39.95 at Office Depot with the usual 10.00 off coupon readily available. Would have gone dual optical but couldnt find locally and a lot more.

Had the Microsoft but didnt care for it. Laggy and if you picked it up during a move from edge to center of pad, it quit altogether for a few seconds. Yeah, Yeah, I know you dont NEED a pad.

I have the MS and it seems to me that its more prone to interference then my old Logitech Cordless Mouseman Pro.

Right now I'm using the original design(bigger buttons on the side, etc.) Intellimouse Explorer. I like it. I have a wireless but it lags, and lag is bad.

$50? I bought it for $29 at BB about 6 months ago. No sale or anything, just everyday price :)

Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 ownz joo!!!

I got mine for 25 brand new in the forsale forum.

I'd use wireless just for work applications. I never use it for recreational uses such as games.

I bought the Logitech Freedom Optical Wireless set (the black set) a few months back. So far I love everything about it, the design, and its quality. The only thing I would complain about is its battery life. Only good for like 2-3 months and then need new ones (talking about the mouse) But I use rechargeables so that could be why its a bit shorter.

Otherwise I love it
