Wireless NIC for PC?

I just finished setting up a wireless network on my dads apple laptop and i would like to set it up on my pc also but i was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for what Wireless NIC i should get, the router is currently a netgear 54 mbps 802.11g, but an Airport one is on the way from apple so i dont know if i need to get one specific for that, or if one card will be compatible with both

Netgear WG511 (CardBus) or WG311 (PCI) are cheap and work well.

If you use the latest drivers, all 802.11g equipment should interoperate if properly configured. No need to get special cards.
