Absolutly True.

As far as I am concern 2.4GHz is a Big NO NO in Wireless Network envioroment, some people think that they get away with changing the phone's channels.

Even if it looks like it working, it is always ?depressing? the Signal.

Better off, to downgrade to 900MHz. or Upgrade to 5.8GHz.:thumbsdown

And saying that, 900mhz my not be that much of a downgrade, due to 2.4 being flooded with new phones, 900mhz in your neighborhood might be quite quite frendly..;)

Or just use a non-wireless phone. Often just as convenient as wireless, and no worries about interference from 802.11 networks, microwave ovens, the neighbor's wireless phone, etc.

Just saying it's an option worth considering, is all.

since it is true that a 2.4ghz cordless phone and wireless networking dont like each other the question is...

will a 2.4ghz cordless affect the wireless networking, or will the wireless networking affect the quality of the cordless phone, or will both be screwed?

im asking because we have two phone lines in the house, so if i upgrade my cordless phones to a 5.8ghz, the other phone line will still be running at 2.4ghz.
