OK, I jumped on the deal for this wireless router @ Dell. But i'm new to wireless networking and would like to know whether or not this configuration would work.

I have 3 computers, well, two computers and 1 playstation 2 that I have networked. Computer 1 is located in the same room w/ the router and DSL modem, while computer 2 is located across the hall. Could I just connect this base station to my old router (linksys BFRS41 or something like that), and maintain a wired connection w/ computer one, but use the wireless for computer 2?

Or would i have to say goodbye to my old router and just get wireless adapters for all 3 devices?

To be connected Wirelessly a computer needs a Wireless Cline Card (you have a Wireless Cable/DSL Router).

The Wireless Cable/DSL Router that you have can be used as a Wireless Router (and you can ditch the Linksys). If you have a reason to keep the Linksys connected you can use the Wireless Router as an Access point.

May be this can Help.
