Hey guys,
I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite laptop and a new wireless network setup. My laptop's built in wireless card is a 802.11 Super G Acreon (sp?) but my new Wireless router is a 802.11g D-Link. I know that my laptop's wireless card is backwards compatible but when I go to log onto the network, it cannot find the signal. When I ran the troubleshooter on the card it said that the wireless network radio was turned off. Only thing is, I don't know how to turn it on.
I have tried everything from reseting the router, setting up a home network, and setting up the router with another computer. Funny thing is, my other computer with wireless D-Link cards work fine and if you directly plug in the ethernet cable into the back of my new laptop, I get internet. I really believe it has something to do with the wireless radio but I don't know how to turn it on.
Anybody have any suggestions?
