Wireless Network Problems

I have a WGRT54G Wireless Router and a USB Wireless Adapter. For some reason, the wireless signal will randomly go out and will stay out. I try unplugging it and repairing the connection and resetting the router, but nothing. Then I turn on the computer that is wired directly to the router and I get connection again. Anyway to fix this?

so you turn on a computer that is unrelated to the wireless computer and router other then being connected to the router and everything started working??? Not sure that can happen.. can you get both to work at one time?

Any chance there's a wireless AP on the wired computer? Silly, but its possible I guess....

Something like this happened to me before, except the wireless part completely died. Kept the router tho since it continued to work.

It's happened again and once I turned on the computer wired to the router it miraculously works again. Wow, I don't know what to do. I have the latest router firmware.
Could it be interference from another AP?

My first thought here is that your cable modem, dsl connection, or dial up connection is connected to your computer, and then your computer is connected to your router.

In this scenario, you will be unable to get online with your wireless box, unless your wired box is also online.
