Trying to use a belkin wireless card with my Netgear mr314 wireless router. Updated drivers on card and firmware on router. Notebook will connect to wireless network but it randomly does it. Will scan for channel and such and will sometimes find the network and connect to it. 100% signal and link quality when it connects. Sometimes changing the channel on the router helps other times not. Really at a loss here as to what is causing this. All WEP codes and mac filtering are set up right.

My netgear wireless card works perfectly with this router. Never has problems connecting to server. No 2.4 ghz interference in house. When laptop is connected thru wired port it connects to network. Any ideas would be helpful.

Have you tried disabling all security on the Router and then seeing if it works? If it does, gradually add WEP and MAC address filtering, etc...just to make sure that everything is set up right. Don't add both at once...make sure it works without encryption, then turn encryption on and set it up to work with that. This also might help to narrow down where the problem might be.
