Ever try sitting in a coffee shop in a heavy residential area and scanning for a wireless network. I did that at a starbucks in Seattle and got 30+ networks. Amongs those were hits like:

PLEASE-WORK
LIFEAINTNICE
MACSONLY
 
I choose random names - wife's grandmother is running "Hannibal", setup the in-laws for "rayovac", and here is "Fujin" (formerly "Dogmeat").
 
Near me right now I have

LINKSYS (Take a guess if this one is secured or not. They didn't even bother to change the router's admin password. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! :evil🙂

not much around us. just a linksys running out of the box settings, and my own that still has the factory SSID of default, but does have WPA on.
