I need a mouse that will do atleast 10ft cuz I plan on purchasing a 22' monitor. I found a good deal @ Xoxide http://xoxide.com/xwing.html for one w/ bluetooth, but I dont know if I should just buy a BT mouse or get a keybo/mouse combo like logitec. Need a little expert advice!

I have the Logitech duo and love it...I don't know if it does 10ft, but easily does 5 or 6. 10fT? That is a long way...but I can chill on my bed and use the mouse and keyboard with the desk and receiver on the other end of my room.

The reciever's come with cables that can span half the distance you need. Most wireless mice cover 5-6 ft to the reciever.

I have the Logiech MX900 mouse for my laptop. Since it has bluetooth inside it means the wireless mouse is REALLY WIRELESS. I use the charger when the lite on top starts flashing, or I put it on the charger when I'm done for the night. With the rechargable batteries (included) I won't have to worry about buying gobs of batteries over the years. With bluetooth inside my system, I have 0 cables on the computer for the mouse. That means the ONLY cable I have connected (most of the time) is for AC power. Otherwise, it's for my external DVD burner (16x LaCie, dual layer) or one of my external hard drives (for when you need more than 100GB of space).

BTW, with nothing else conflicting with the frequency the mouse uses, I can go over 10' from it and still control the computer...

I just measured my MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 working @ 11 ft. Honestly don't see the need for bluetooth mice for desktop use.
