Wireless Mouse Delay

OK... so I went out and bought Microsoft's Wireless Intellimouse Explorer, which I love, except that there is a nasty lag time of a fraction of a second between when I move the mouse and when the cursor actually moves on screen. This is only a real problem in games and photo editing, but it's very frustrating.

I've installed all the latest software, checked and played with all the settings, adjusted it to use different radio channels, all to no avail. So I'm wondering, either a) does someone know how to fix this or b) is this common to wireless mice? maybe just this model?

thanks!

try replacing the batteries for the mouse, maybe not enough full power going to the mouse.... try positioning the mouse receiver base closer to the mouse and make sure its not being blocked .... some outside interference could be causing it too ....

i use a wireless mouse at work .... its a logitech, and it responds like any wired mouse ..
