yea there was a website that reviewed these antennas, the conclusion was you should have at least a 6db gain to notice a real difference and this is only 5.5

if you really need to extend your wireless range consider adding another access point, wireless routers are about the same price as this antenna

if you're thinking about wardriving on other ppl's networks forget it, you would need a gain on BOTH the access point and the card, besides, its dishonest

the act of wardriving is simply *finding* other networks, and therefor in noway dishonest. Actually connecting to them and using their network is a whole other ballgame.
And a good antenna on a wireless card *does* help extending range while wardriving...
