do you have a cable connection... what is your ISP?

can you get on the internet from wired computers hooked up to the router?

have gone into the router control panel settings and set them to what they need to be?

Unless your getting interference, setting the channel on the AP/Router doesnt really matter. The client will scan until it finds an AP. The SSID, on the other hand, is a critical factor. Chances are the AP is set to broadcast, and since you say you have a strong signal, that probably doesnt matter either. The way to test your connectivity: Assign an IP manually, on the same network ID as the router and ping the router. If you can ping, then your certainly have connectivity. Manually assigning gateway and DNS may solve your web browser issues.

and i received no reception in the living room ... which is just less than 10 feet away from the router ..
no wall .. the apt is like build on wood or something , and clear path too , door are all open ..
so anyone know wat's up now ? thanks !
