Wireless Keyboard with a long range...

I currently have the Microsoft 3000 wireless keyboard/mouse. The range sucks with this combo. What would you all recommend for a keyboard/mouse (or just mouse) with a long range (6-10 feet)?

And if you want even greater range, i.e., 9 meters, and have the bucks - consider Bluetooth.

I was reading up on wireless keyboards and it seems the limits most of them have is because of the receiving antennas.
When the antennas inside the units were extended ranges of 100-300ft were possible.

I tried a Logitech bluetooth keyboard/mouse and the range was about 5 feet. I replaced it with the gyration and I'm happy.

I got my dad this http://www.newegg.com/Product/...E16823126011&Tpk=lx710 for $35 AR a week or two ago, easily 20 yards + range. I couldn't walk back any farther <_<.

Actually i just bought the 710 from circuit city and had to return it because the one i had couldn't go bast 10 feet. It must've also been at a 30 degree angle, straight on is fine. The reviews for the gyration seem good, i'm waiting for some sort of coupon or discount from one of the stores...
