Everywhere they sell wireless keyboards, a wireless mouse comes with it... but I already have a wireless mouse I'm comfortable with.. I just want the wireless keyboard. Will it still work without having to use the bundled mouse ? How do the connections work .. is it just a receiver that plugs into the keyboard ps/2 slot on the tower ?

There are many wireless keyboards without mice available. Most of the current keyboards use a receiver plugged into a USB port.

Get a PS/2 connected KBD/MSE set and just don't plug in the MSE port connector. I use my Trackman Marble Mouse with the kbd from a combo.

Well I've taken a look at Best Buy and the other usual brick & mortar suspects and haven't been able to find any without an accompanying mouse...
