Here's the problem. I'm working on this computer to install Norton 2005 and some Windows updates. It has the Linksys Wireless G PCI card in it coupled with the Wireless G router downstairs. I have enabled the WEP on it. Problem is is when I'm connected fine with 4/5 bars and downloading a file or browsing the internet, it comes up with the balloon in at the bottom saying that there's more than 1 wireless network in the area. So I click on the bubble, see that it only says the 1 network that's around, then hit connect and I'm back online! It happens totally randomly and I can't seem to figure out why. It's a pain as well because when the More tahn 1 connection comes up, it drops me from the 1 I'm on.

Help appreciated. Thanks :)

You have a Linksys WMP54G too? :) I had to do a Windows Update...there's a 3.0.3.0 driver that worked well. I also went to Linksys' site to use their driver utility program...it works really well now and never disconnects!

If you have the GS version, then you gotta find that one yourself on Linksys' site. ;)

awesome! It's the G version that you have. I'll be sure to download the update for it.

Good luck! If that Windows Update driver doesn't do the trick for you, I can ensure you that using the full Linksys utility/driver package will work!
