Wireless internet = GARBAGE!

I think what you are missing here is that no one is ever going to say wireless is a replacement for a hard wire...if you think it should be then you need to do some homework yourself.
I have transfere large files over wireless, i accept that it isnt as fast as it should be.

G is nice, but no one here would need it if you are only sharing the internet....if you share Gigs of data on a daily basis over your LAn, why would you go with wireless?
You would because you have a NEED for it, not because it is the ONLY solution available...wireless isnt in its infancy by any means....


Think of about 5 years ago...how many switched netowrks were there? Especially in a home...
Everyone had a 10/mb shared hub running their networks...no different than an 11mb wireless connection.

I guess i dont see what you are saying since my Cisco gear has NEVER hicduped like you mentioned here...i think you are talking baout home gear..and as was stated before...you get what you pay for. I dont expect people to go out and buy a $500 Cisco AP like I have, but if they did I am sure they would have a different view about the quality of the hardware they are using.
