Is store only. I have one at work and after 8 months, have yet to change the batteries. I've been VERY happy with it.

I have this mouse in red, got it during a staples clearance. Very responsive for a wireless mouse, long battery life. Def. worth $15.

Damn, I was just there today getting some keyboards. If I'd seen this I would have snagged a couple. I've been using a red on one of my machines for ages now, haven't changed the battery. Of course, I still have an extra in the closet, so I would have had to sneak them past the wife, anyway.

I'll head over later, maybe I won't miss out.

I went to to the compusa by my work, but they were sold out. I then went to Circuit City and was able to get a price match on the platinum version of this mouse. I got it for $12.44.
Good deal, thanks for posting. I really needed a new mouse.

Didn't give me a raincheck here in Chicagoland. Just told me they were sold out and it was a one-time thing. :|

I knew there was a reason I hadn't shopped at CompUSA in years...

OK, I picked up the mouse. The software that came with it is version 5.0. Download version 5.2, it has additional mouse adjustments.

I got the one from Surplus Computers a while back, and I'm quite happy with it. I have two NiMH AA's in it, and I only have to recharge every 5-6 weeks or so. This is a 5-button Version 2.0 mouse. The center button has side-scrolling, and it's pretty stiff compared to the wired Intellimouse Explorer.

Thanks. I'll check out CompUSA and/or do a price-match at Staples.

Edit: Staples is giving me a hard time with the price-match. I ordered one online yesterday and both times I called up to do the price-match the CSR told me that "corporate" is still reviewing the price-match and I have to wait till they issue a decision." What is that about? Has anyone ever has a Staples CSR tell them that?

Edit II: SUCCESS! On my fourth call to Staples to try the price-match, I finally got it! Yay! Thank you Staples and thank you CompUSA.

Till your kid takes up Diablo 2 (they just patched it again). I was getting 3-4 months per set of batteries, very heavy use (3 users, probably used 20 hrs a day). My kid started Diablo 2 again and went through a set of batteries in a couple of days.

It is a very fine mouse, though. I'm very happy with my (red) one.
