Hi,

I have 2 comps 1 in the basement and 1 all the way up in my house. What things do i need to make them connect to a wireless router? I HAVEN'T bought the wireless router yet but It will be linksys i hope. do i need wireless ethernet card?

Each computer will need an wireless PCI slot card (assuming desktops). Check if Linksys sell a "kit version" of the wireless router you want. While all these wifi certified routers and cards are all supposed to play well with each other, it's best/easer to stick with one manufacturer if you can. HTH
 
Just as Mactron said, a wireless card for each computer and the router. I am using a linksys Wireless router 802.11b. The router is on the third floor, and I could get a good signal on a laptop when I took it down into the basement, so you shouldn't have any problems.
