i've never seen anything wireless that's not like the seinheser web page borntodie showed. There must exist battery powered receivers that work on the same principle than these headphones, you would just have to plug the wired headset that suits you.
When you punch in wireless headset into google all you get back seems to be cell phone headsets. Logitech used to have a mono-aural headset that worked with a home phone and a PC. If you go to someplace like dealtime.com for instance and search for pc wireless headset you'll get a few that are for the PC but they are all mono-aural.
Given the difficulty in finding a wireless headset:
If you're close to the PC just go with a wired... if you want to blow alot of money get a Sennheiser PC155 ($99 Mwave, $140 Newegg)
If you can't be close to the PC you may want to try wireless headphones and a boom mic combination.
If money is no object and you're crazy... look into the Sennheiser Dance Instruction wireless headsets. It looks like they start at $835.
