I'm new to wireless headphones. Just got a RCA pair from Amazon and they seem ok for the few pc games I have installed: Crysis 3, Tomb Raider 2013, Watch Dogs, Witcher 2, Guild Wars 1 & 2, and that's it.

It's trippy and cool to be able to walk all around in the condo like to use the bathroom, answer the door or get food and hear a cutscene on the headset or something else playing during a game. I could hear the same things from speakers but I don't use speakers anymore in order to keep down noise that may bother the neighbors.

I also have two pairs of RCA wireless headphones (look for them on eBay) and I'm pretty satisfied. I use them for just about everything. I have a set for the computer and one for the TV. I enjoy listening to a lot of talk radio and podcasts, so they're great for cooking or doing the dishes, etc.

I got for work; and then my boss wanted some; then the ceo and a bunch of engineers; creatives; tatical 3d rage....

I can't decide which are better sounding; my wired plantronics 780 gaming or these....but until my plantronics die or my son kills them I won't replace them with wireless ones :D

Why would you want to?

Wireless headphones are generally inferior and at minimum are going to be extra weight (although if you for instance had a wireless receiver box and some IEMs it could be negligible). Plus they're generally more expensive, so unless you just have to have them I wouldn't recommend them. But to each their own I guess.
