I've had the router for a few weeks now and had no problems. Last night the wireless connection flaked in and out, from a location which it had no problems previously. I brought a laptop to the same spot today and its working, no problem.

What should I try hardware wise, I want to know if its a problem with my wireless card on my desktop or the strength of the signal.
 
you might be pushing it depending on the walls. I would also check for other types of interference as was suggested.
