wireless encruption setup

i want to encrypt my wireless connection but i dont really know what SW i should use.

the router came with a program called network magic, but that costs $50 to upgrade in order to allow for encryption.

any suggestions of what i should use.

There's no need to spend any money if you check the user manual that came with the router and enable WPA or WPA2.
 
good call. the router can be set up directly (as i'm sure you know) or there was an additional (useless) piece of SW that came in the package.

note to anyone else out there: if you cant find the manual google the model number. that's what i did and it worked
